Anyone with an Elvis costume can join, it's for fun and fund
raising for charity.

How it works:
Did you see the web site of the NY Elvis Bar Crawl? They are
very successful and dynamic.
I am organizing a Chicago squad of amateur performers.
Our charity will contact a group of bars ready to donate to
provide an evening's entertainment for their customers...

If you are interested, e-mail me. I have an office in Oak Park
where I do my fundraising work

A typical evening:
The Chicago Elvis Bar Crawl makes all the arrangements with the
bars ahead of time. We may "crawl" to 3-4 bars in one night.
The squad assembles in costume and comes in to the
participating bar, surprising the patrons... We pose for
pictures and lead some crowd sing alongs, and maybe some of you
amateur Elvis's do some lip syncs from a stage...then a semi- professional (there are 5 in Chicago) may come in and
"challenge " our goofy group and is crowned "King" ...then he
stays to entertain after we roll out and along to the next bar.

That way the bar gets 2 hours of Elvis entertainment for their
evening's donation to our Charity...
plus we have collected money for posing for pictures, etc. Our
charity interns work the crowd passing out small flyers about
the charity, and also collecting the cash donations in a huge
martini glass.

Our street performing can make for a humorous evening.

We may get also some publicity, the NY guys will do
interviews etc

I think we might perform once a month, there is no
requirements... just a commitment to fun. and charity

We have high hopes...
and Haiti orphans need the money.
