Thanks Michele, it was nice meeting you too! I figured out what happened to my tummy...before I left for the meetup I had a really bad headache, so I took 2 Aleve...on an empty stomach. Then with the margarita it messed my stomach up bad! I felt like a hole was burning into it!!! Moral of the story, DON'T take Aleve on an empty stomach or mix it with booze. DUH. LOL Hope to see you at a meetup in the future when I'm not feeling like death. :)

Don't let your physical condition hold you back; we have everyone from beginners on up joining the group. Most runners, myself included, start off doing a run/walk combo. Also, it my ease your mind a bit to know it's an 8K (about 5 miles), not an 8 mile run. Whichever you wish to do, I would definitely appreciate the support and I know PAWS would also. Hi Michele, sounds good for Eclipse! I usually just go by where I live which is the Oak Park/River Forest area. I don't know where you live, but if you wanna meet half way or whatever I am flexible. What is your schedule like? Jeff and I were talking about going to the Brookfield Zoo some time on a week day with free passes...I noticed your idea you posted. If you want we can let you know when we get around to going if the group doesn't set up an actual meetup for it.
