    I Still Love H.E.R. (atributetohiphop)

Posted by: Wendell Tucker Wendell Tucker on Mar 9, 2010

My name is Wendell Tucker. I am the Director of the show ?I Still Love H.E.R (atributetohiphop) and the Executive Producer of Theori Stages. "I Still Love H.E.R.? centers on the venerable Love 1, a revered Chicago on-air personality, who?s angst about the current state of Hip-Hop has caused him to retire and dedicate his final broadcast to Hip-Hop as a memorial. In the midst of his farewell show, Hip-Hop, personified, arrives to tell her story ?the way it really is.? Social issues such as feminism, parenting, racism, capitalist media domination and violence in the Hip-Hop community are examined throughout the show, with relevant Hip-Hop classics as the backdrop. This year?s performances take place at 8 p.m., on Friday and Saturday nights at the Chicago Theater for the Performing Arts, 777 N Green St., Chicago. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased at www.theoristages.com, at the theater box office, or by phone at 312-733-6000.

Tribute to my Dad 'n Aunt's Show Biz days

Posted by: A former member on Oct 16, 2009

Multi media gallery party at my condo - home movies, their act, a movie my Aunt starred in, photos of acts they worked with, many of which are signed, and excerpts from my Dad's diary. I've put this on before, and always enjoy sharing it with others. Oh, my photos on display too. Includes home movies of Lisel(from the Sound of Music), growing up (she's my cousin).
