So, thanks to PMac, I am very anxious to do Drink and Draw Thursday at Cabalo. But Henri really wants to see the rock band Jaw Potato perform at the Lincoln Square Concert Series, and since I usually let Henri win our arguments, we will be at Cafe Selmarie on the evening of August 19. However, since we are the Creative Social Club (we are, aren't we?), I have decided that if we cannot come to Drink and Draw Thursday at Cabalo, then Drink and Draw Thursday will come to us, at Cafe Selmarie and wherever we go after the concert. I will bring my sketchbook and pencil and you bring your sketchbook and pencil, and let us have Drink and Draw Thursday at Lincoln Square. There will be plenty of subjects to sketch and we will conduct ourselves as haughty Parisian artists in the outdoor patio of Cafe Selmarie during the concert. Berets optional.

I sure hope Cabalo does not have "Drink and Draw Thursday" trademarked.

Have you ever seen My Dinner with Andre? Me neither. But that old movie popped into my head when I decided to go ahead with this Meetup. (This Meetup was originally entitled "My Dinner with Boylan".)

Henri and I are getting together on Thursday, August 19, at Cafe Selmarie for the Lincoln Square Concert Series. Yes, this would make it the second of three Meetups at the Concert Series, with a third one on September 2nd. But we really like Lincoln Square and we really like the Concert Series. Originally, I did not want to schedule a Meetup on this date, because it is too soon from now and too close to the August 21st Meetup. But since Henri and I are planning to get together anyway, we decided we should invite any Creative Social Club members who merely wish to enjoy a fun and pleasant summer evening with two fine gentlemen. Well, Henri anyway.

This Meetup is like "Don't Be Square, Join Us at Lincoln Square", http://meetup.com/u/8..., with two major exceptions:

• No need to bring a portable chair as we will just dine at Cafe Selmarie during the concert. I will be there by 5:30 PM so we have a table.
  
• Since we are going to Chicago Brauhaus again for "Don't Be Square, Join Us at Lincoln Square #2", http://meetup.com/u/8..., we will bypass Chicago Brauhaus and go to another nearby bar after the concert. Unless you twist my arm.
