Dance As If No One Is Watching...Even If They Are!
The next Meetup of The Chicago Creative Social CLub is scheduled for 8:30 PM ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2009, AT RUMBA, 351 WEST HUBBARD STREET. Rumba is a Latin-fusion restaurant and nightclub in the River North area that comes highly recommended by a couple of our members. The 8:30 PM timeslot gives us time to beat the $10 cover charge that starts at 9 PM, grab a few drinks, get a little chit-chat done, and then take to the dance floor for group salsa lessons at 10 PM. Afterward, I, your Organizer, will slink into some remote part of the bar to watch the rest of you apply your new moves for the rest of the evening!
All kidding aside, November 21 is an ideal evening for us to get together, relax, and enjoy some great PARTICIPATORY socializing at a hot Latin nightclub right before the week of Thanksgiving. BE THERE!

Henri, I looked for Tokiko in our member list and I can't find her. I monitor the joining and leaving activity, so I know she has not left. But she may have never joined, unless it was under an alias with no photo. Need a little help! ;)

JesterEvent HostOrganizerWe had a good turnout with our expanding core group plus some very nice new people. Rumba is a great place, although it may have been crowded for some people. The main thing for me is that everyone seemed to have a great time dancing, drinking, and socializing, and those people that keep coming to our Meetups, I really enjoy their company.

Met some great new members, and, as always, it's great to see our returning friends. Shout out to Hari and Subir for their tips on Salsa. Loved dancing with you Hari. Maybe next time I'll be a better partner. :)
