I just thought of the newest "product" of the Creative Social Club! I introduce to you The Burrito & No Dough Rock Show Combo Series. You see, for a bourgoise MBA guy living in Lakeview, I have the heart of a West Town hipster. I wanted to combine two of my passions and turn them in to a regular thang of the Creative Social Club: burritos and free rock and roll. Genius!

We start our evening off at 6:30 PM at La Pasadita, 1132 North Ashland Avenue, in East Ukrainian Village -- East Village for short, and to be precise, right on its border with Noble Square. There are two things that distinguish this establishment: the football-sized Super Burritos for $7.50 and the unlikelihood of getting held up as the place is heavily frequented by the police. La Pasadita burritos are so big that you will see plenty of men on Ashland Avenue furtively stashing their leftovers in their cars for further consumption the next day. In the past, these "stashers" have included members of the Creative Social Club, and while I will not name names, the scene is quite amusing, I assure you.

After the full or more likely partial consumption of burritos, we will walk off approximately 4.3% of the calories consumed and head over to Double Door for No Dough Rock Show. Double Door is about 6 or 7 blocks from La Pasadita, at 1572 North Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park. (Of course, you actually enter Double Door at 1551 North Damen.) It sounds like a long walk, but after the La Pasadita burrito, you will want to walk to Milwaukee, not just Milwaukee Avenue. As the name implies, No Dough Rock Shows are rock performances that have no cover charge. The bands scheduled to perform on Tuesday, June 22nd, are Farwell, Kirkland, and Trejo.
