The original free screening at the Chopin Theatre in early February was cancelled due to snow, but tickets are now available at http://ow.ly/1abzu!...Sign up now (for the 6 PM show) because tickets will go fast!RSVP here also so that we know who from our Club is attending, and we can "debrief" after the show.
The synopsys of the movie: What do people who were once paid to be creative for a living do when they’re laid off? They get creative with their own lives. Lemonade is an inspirational film about 16 advertising professionals who lost their jobs and found their calling, encouraging people to listen to that little voice inside their head that asks, “What if?”
We will see the movie, then find a watering hole in Wicker Park to "debrief" over a drink. I have heard there are some bars over in Wicker Park.
I will let you know where to meet before the movie nearer the date. And oh, since this is someone else's event, please honor your RSVP commitment; no-shows may needlessly deprive someone else of attending the screening.
Merci beau coup, Henri! Make it 5:50ish right outside. It might be cold, and I don't want to set up a different indoor rendezvous and potentially create confusion. Tuesday should be a great time!
Just so we are clear, you have to "order" your movie ticket (free but donations are welcome) on EventBrite, AND I ask you to RSVP here also so that WE CAN GO AS A GROUP.
“ Always glad to see new faces at events. Even better to see familiar ones! I'm hoping all the new faces start becoming familiar ones! Thanks for coming out!! ”
“ Wonderful. Inspirational. Tear-jerking. Motivation and empowering. It is timely. Especially in our economy now with joblessness--people losing hope. Lemonade encourages us to look at the gift and opportunity that being unemployed presents. I was deeply moved by the production and think it should be seen by others. ”

Alan, I counted Noreen as your +1. :P
this is just the kind of occasion that calls for an 'official' meet up nametag like the astroGizmo

We should meet nearby by, at least, 5:45 or 5:30.
